The Dedham Farmers Market is looking for a dynamic, community-minded Farmers Market Manager & Planner to lead the beloved year-round Dedham Farmers Markets. The job is year round and part time. The Market Manager and Planner runs, oversees and plans the year-round Dedham Farmers Markets. The markets run on Wednesdays in the Summer and Saturdays in the Winter and Spring. This position is a combination of remote administrative work and onsite market management. The position is a physical, public facing outdoor job and requires strong organizational and written communication skills and attention to detail.

DSC Volunteer Opportunities

  • Help us kick of the holiday season with an evening of fun for all ages in Dedham Square. Students and adults are needed to set up and clean up, running crafts, games and activities.

  • Sign up for one day, one hour or as many dates as you want! Do you need service hours or just want to get involved in our community and volunteer?

    Help is needed setting up and breaking down the market, running crafts and acting as an assistant to the market manager.

    Location: 670 High Street, Dedham

    Please note: Market setup and breakdown could involve lifting of 40lbs, setting up tables, chairs, equipment, etc. Volunteers should dress for the weather.

  • If you live or work on a busy street, you can support us by putting up a yard sign for our events and Farmers Markets. Hosting signs really helps our events. Choose the events or markets with this form, and we will deliver and pick up the signs. Thank you!!

  • With only 2 part-time staff, it takes many people to support the 66+ free events and markets we hold each year. If you have skills to lend or want to volunteer, we need help with PR, event planning, IT, admin, committees, stuffing mailings, flyer distribution, and more!
