About the Dedham Square Circle

The Dedham Square Circle is a designated 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2006 by a small group of residents and Square business owners who came together out of their collective commitment to preserve the historic downtown of Dedham and to stimulate business and economic development by promoting its unique history, amenities, and culture. DSC is a civic organization started by the community for the community.  DSC and its volunteers have infused new energy into Dedham, become a recognizable presence, and built a level of credibility with residents, business owners, and the Town.

Our Mission

The mission of Dedham Square Circle is to invigorate Dedham Square by increasing its economic prosperity, promoting its rich history, and aesthetically enhancing the Square's physical environment to benefit the entire community.

The Dedham Square Circle’s Initiatives

The Dedham Square Circle is dedicated to promoting Dedham Square as a unique and historical neighborhood where members of the community can live, work, and shop. We do this through three main initiatives:

Destination Dedham: When the Square does well, Dedham does well. Our goal is to promote Dedham Square as a thriving destination and a vital part of a highly desirable town in the heart of Greater Boston.

Community Events: At the core, we are a community organization. We bring people together through regular events such as our outdoor summer and indoor winter Farmers Markets, Trunk-or-Treat, Holiday Stroll and quarterly networking mixers!

Community Relations: The DSC keeps you informed of all things Dedham and Dedham Square, from merchant sales to local events. Sign up for the weekly DSC Weekly Happening digital newsletter and follow us on social media!
