Welcome Back, Scoop Fans!
While we hunker down and brave another wicked New England winter, the Dedham Square Circle team has been busy behind-the-scenes working on plans for the year ahead. A top priority is our collaboration with the town on a number of initiatives to improve the Square, namely the Dedham Square Improvement Project, which will make Dedham Square safer to navigate, easier to access, and more beautiful to enjoy.
We’re also planning promotions and community events, including the Dedham Farmers Market, to draw more visitors to the Square, as well as organizing merchant workshops and our Annual Meeting. We’ll continue to work with Square property owners and merchants to make physical improvements to their buildings and storefronts, many of which will be unveiled this spring.
While Dedham Square Circle focuses our efforts on Dedham Square, the entire community benefits. An economically strong and vibrant downtown improves the quality of life for all residents and benefits the town as a whole by sustaining or increasing property values, creating a source of pride among those who live and work in Dedham, and helping to attract future businesses and investors.
As Dedham Square Circle is 100% privately funded, our continued revitalization efforts in the Square are made possible only through the support from many generous businesses, residents and friends who care about the future of Dedham Square. You can help support our efforts by joining as a new member or renewing your annual membership today. Membership comes with benefits as DSC members get discounts at several participating Square businesses when they show their membership card.
To join or renew, send your check payable to Dedham Square Circle ($35 for individuals, $50 for families) to: P.O. Box 593, Dedham Square, 02027 or donate online at www.dedhamsquarecircle.org. Thanks for your support!
