Dedham Square Circle Hosts
Annual “State of the Square” Community Gathering
Dedham – On Monday, May 11 at 7 pm, the Dedham Square Circle (DSC) will host its annual “State of the Square” community gathering at the Deli After Dark, 545 High Street, Dedham Square. The event brings together community members, Town officials, Square merchants, and property owners to network and learn more about DSC's plans for the year ahead. It's free and is open to the public, all are welcome.
"The State of the Square also serves as the organization's Annual Meeting," said DSC Executive Director Amy Haelsen. "Our bylaws require that every year our membership, meaning anyone who supports the Square in any way, approve our slate of Board members and officers for the year ahead."
" We have also used this annual gathering as an opportunity to celebrate the people and places that make Dedham Square special." Haelsen added that DSC will recognize some special "Stars of the Square" and highlight the organization's accomplishments over the last year.
"Our continued revitalization efforts in the Square are made possible only through the support from our generous contributors and dedicated volunteers," she said. "This occasion provides us with the chance to acknowledge that support and express our gratitude in person. Whether you've been a long time contributor or are new to Dedham and just discovered the Square, we hope you'll join us."
