Welcome Back, Scoop Fans!
You’ve heard the phrase “Keep It Local,” but what exactly does that mean? Put quite simply, it means think about where you spend your hard-earned money. By choosing to spend it at small and locally-owned independent businesses, you are helping to support our community and our local economy.
Speaking of Supporting Local Biz…Grab your friends and head down to the Square next Friday evening, Sept. 30, for the Dedham Square Fall Stroll. Merchants will stay open late and the Square will be hoppin’! Stop in to SheepSkate Yarn & Crafts for its grand re-opening event in its new space at 549 High Street and then pop in to the preview party at the Dedham Square Artist Guild Gallery, which officially opens on Oct. 1 at 553 High St. Hop into The Blue Bunny for their 8th Birthday Blowout Sale and then mosey on over to Maribu to see their fabulous new fall fashions and enter the raffle for a $25 gift certificate. Stroll over to Heart of the Square to see Diana Gaikazova’s latest hand crafted heart pendant and jewelry designs and then on to nest to shop their new fall inventory of decorative home accents, art, jewelry and more.
Want to Be Wined, Dined and Entertained? After you’re done shopping the Square next Friday night, grab a bite at one of the many local eateries. Whether it’s Italian, bistro, Greek, pub-style, Chinese, Japanese or café cuisine you’re seeking, the Square has quite a few choices.
