Dedham Public Library invites kids to make their own piñata! They'll use papier-mâché, tape and paint to build and decorate piñatas. Registrants must be able to attend all three sessions of the craft: Monday, August 2nd; Wednesday, August 4th; and Friday, August 6th. All sessions are at 2:00 pm at the Main Library. This craft is for children ages 9 and up. Come prepared with an idea of a piñata that can be created from a large oval balloon. Examples of piñatas that can be made from an oval shape are fish, animal heads, and birds. Registration is required - stop by the Main Library’s Children’s Room or call 781-751-9283 to sign up.
