When given the chance to toot our own horn, toot it we will! It seems that word is quickly spreading about what an undiscovered treasure Dedham Square is full of award-winning shops and restaurants recognized by local media. Check it out! - WCVB-TV's "Chronicle" paid a visit to Dedham Square in June 2009 to showcase the dining, shopping and recreational opportunities in and around the Square.
 In June 2009, several Dedham Square businesses came out on top in Community Newspaper Company's Readers Choice Awards including Cheeky Diva, The Blue Bunny, Heart of the Square, The Dedham Exchange, Maribu, Dedham Flower Shoppe, Courtyard Florist, Wardle's Pharmacy, Anthony Fredrick Salon & Day Spa, Schortmann Insurance, Dedham Insurance, Dedham Savings, Needham Bank, Cafe Fresh Bagle, Centre Deli, Isabella, Dedham House of Pizza, Cathay Kitchen, Kikuyama, Mocha Java and Ron's Ice Cream.- In Fall 2008, The Blue Bunny received a "Best of Boston" award from Boston Magazine as "Best Bookstore - South of Boston".
- In May 2008, Ron's Gourmet Ice Cream, with locations in both Dedham Square and Hyde Park, was voted the number 3 best ice cream in the world on Good Morning America!
