Annual Square Events

There are several annual events happening in Dedham Square which the Dedham Square Circle either organizes or supports the efforts of the organizations which do. 

Spring MusicFest - held on a Saturday in June, this outdoor music festival features several live musical performances across a variety of music genres, over the course of one day. The best part? It's all FREE! Organized by Dedham Square Circle, Dedham Community House and Dedham School of Music.

James Joyce Ramble - each year on the last Sunday in April, thousands of runners descend upon Dedham to partake in the Ramble, a 10k roadrace whose course covers much of the Square.  The Ramble has become a Dedham institution and is not to be missed!

Fall Spectacular - in November, the Dedham Square Circle plans a fundraiser like none other, complete with creative themes, fantastic food, drink and company.  This year's event, "Saturday Night Fever", will take place on Saturday, November 14th.

Holiday Stroll - mark your calendar for Friday night, December 4th for the Annual Dedham Square Holiday Stroll.  Merchants stay open late to offer special discounts, promotions, complimentary refreshments, free goodies and raffles, and lots of holiday cheer. Look out for the roving carolers and live entertainment throughout the Square.

Christmas Tree Lighting - organized by Dedham Rotary Club, the much-anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Sunday, December 6th, complete with hay rides, a trackless train, games, goodies, prizes and more.  All FREE!
